The Causes of Low Back Pain: Part One

The causes of low back pain are numerous. This is the main reason low back pain can be so hard for my massage therapy clients.

In this series of videos, I explore with you all the many causes of back pain, and how you can investigate these causes yourself in the comfort of your own home.

These are also great strategies to help your massage session last longer, so you can live the life you want to. Whether that’s getting back to the tennis court or keeping up with your grandchildren as you age.

Aging does not need to come with less and less mobility and activity. It just takes maintenance and dedication. I am a big proponent of regular massage therapy as preventative medicine. I am also a big believer in moving and caring for yourself at home.

In this video, I walk you through self-massage on the external rotators of the hip. This is often the first place I look when clients come in with back pain.

This is your body connect with it every day and it will give back mentally and physically.
